A Eugene woman arrested in connection with a drug operation near a school has pleaded guilty to a felony firearm charge, according to the Eugene Police Department.
Christina Amber Schmisek, 41, was sentenced to 16 months in prison followed by two years of post-prison supervision after pleading guilty to felon in possession of a firearm.
Schmisek was arrested in May 2025 alongside Anthony Miro Latin, 39, also of Eugene, as part of an investigation into an illegal drug delivery operation near a school.
Latin was later sentenced to 90 months in prison and three years of post-prison supervision on multiple charges, including unlawful delivery of fentanyl near a school.
The department’s Street Crimes Unit uncovered evidence that Latin distributed significant quantities of fentanyl between February and March 2025. On March 31, 2025, investigators executed a search warrant, seizing more than 480 grams of fentanyl, a firearm, scales and stolen identification documents from Latin’s hut, vehicle, storage unit and hotel room.
The investigation was part of ongoing efforts by local authorities to combat fentanyl distribution in the Eugene area.
