Police in Vancouver are searching for an Oregon driver accused of hitting a woman in a crosswalk and fleeing the scene after briefly helping her.
The hit-and-run occurred around 3:30 p.m. near C Street and Evergreen Boulevard, according to authorities.
Driver Allegedly Hit Woman, Then Left Scene
Investigators say the woman was crossing in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a white van with Oregon license plates.
After the collision, the driver reportedly stopped and helped the আহত pedestrian to the sidewalk — but then drove away without providing further assistance or information.
Emergency responders transported the woman to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police described the suspect vehicle as:

Authorities have released an image of the vehicle and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver.
