Three Florida men were apprehended after an altercation in a wooded area.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the men were apprehended after a physical altercation in a wooded area of North Fort Myers.

“What began as an attempt to avoid conflict quickly escalated due to these folks’ irresponsible actions. Sheriff Carmine Marceno remarked, “I’m proud of our deputies for their quick response and for holding those responsible accountable.”

Around 8 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance in a wooded area near a lake north of Del Prado Boulevard.

Deputies spotted and apprehended two individuals, Jacob Britton and William Johnson. A third suspect, Cameron Bradford, then contacted the LCSO and surrendered himself in.

Jacob Britton was charged with burglary and assault. William Johnson was charged with criminal battery. Cameron Bradford has been charged with burglary, violence, and criminal battery.
