A 17-year-old has been apprehended following the discovery of a woman’s body on a sidewalk in east Las Vegas last month.
According to authorities, detectives identified a 17-year-old male juvenile as the suspect in this case. He was arrested on Tuesday, May 5, and put into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center for open murder.
The morning of April 21, officers discovered an unresponsive woman on a sidewalk with visible injuries. Investigators eventually discovered that she had been beaten sometime overnight.
A few days later, the Clark County Coroner’s Office identified her as Marceline Biasini, age 61. Her death was caused by blunt head trauma and was classified as a homicide.
