Two people were apprehended following a traffic stop that led to the seizure of suspected drugs, cash, and a firearm, according to the Bogalusa Police Department.
On April 30, police officers stopped and searched a vehicle, allegedly discovering more than 48 grams of suspected cocaine, a digital scale, packaging supplies, US currency, and a handgun.
Authorities have arrested Carter Patrick Macfarland, 37, and Dedric Robinson, 45. Both were booked into the Bogalusa City Jail on several drug-related crimes.
Police said additional suspected methamphetamine was uncovered throughout the booking procedure.
The investigation is underway.
