A traffic stop late in Glen Burnie resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old man when cops discovered a loaded stolen firearm inside his pickup truck.
On May 15, at around 10:10 p.m., officers stopped a gray Ford F-150 on Solley Road near Tanyard Springs Lane.
During the stop, police said they seized a loaded 9mm Springfield Arms handgun from the vehicle’s compartment.
The handgun was reported stolen, and the driver was prohibited from holding firearms owing to his age, according to authorities.
The driver has been detained and charged.
Police identified the apprehended driver as Christopher J. Malik McLeod, 18, of Parkville, Maryland.
