A fugitive wanted on multiple warrants was apprehended in Allegheny County on Tuesday.
Mason Smith, 35, of Washington, was wanted in Washington County on an adult probation warrant and two PFA violations, according to Sheriff Tony Andronas. He was wanted in Allegheny County on a variety of crimes, including four felony counts relating to sexual assault.
Deputies searched for Smith for a month before discovering he was staying at the Fort Pitt Motel in Oakdale. He was arrested without incident after setting up surveillance in the neighborhood.
Smith is now being incarcerated in the Washington County Correctional Facility.
