6 people apprehended for street racing in Ohio

Six people were apprehended early Tuesday morning after alleged street racing incidents in downtown Cincinnati, according to police.

The incidents took place around 1:30 a.m. outside Paycor Stadium, and security staff notified Cincinnati police about the action.

According to Cincinnati Police Lt. Stefanie Glueck, six individuals, two of whom are women, were arrested in connection with the suspected street racing and related incidents.

Court records identify the suspects as Akhmadjon Valiev, Madina Esenova, Temur Nurmatov, Dilmurod Nurmatov, Zaburova Mumtozakhon and Bekdillo Khamidullaev.

Authorities stated the defendants are facing a number of accusations. Specific charges were not immediately announced.

Police also seized other automobiles reportedly involved in the incidents, including a Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, BMW, and Audi.

The arrests occurred on property owned by Paycor Stadium. There were no injuries recorded.

The investigation is underway.
