Two Akron teens were hospitalized after rounds were fired into their home early Monday morning.
According to an Akron Police Department press release, police arrived at the 900 block of McKinley Avenue around 12:55 a.m. after witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots.
When cops arrived, they discovered a 14-year-old boy and an 18-year-old lady with gunshot wounds.
Both were sent to local hospitals for treatment, with the 18-year-old remaining in critical condition.
According to preliminary findings, the victims were inside a home when an unknown suspect or suspects shot multiple rounds into it, authorities said.
Witnesses said they observed the suspects depart in an unknown vehicle.
Detectives are currently seeking to identify those responsible.
