A Horseshoe Bend man was detained on Saturday following an investigation by the Boise County Sheriff’s Office into an alleged child enticement case.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies received a tip at 1:03 a.m. on June 13 from a civilian group called “Pred Poacher,” which performs online sting operations against suspected child pedophiles. Investigators quickly launched an investigation, which included obtaining search warrants, performing forensic investigations on cellular phones, and conducting in-person interviews.
Dakota Green, 34, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. on a felony charge of luring children over the internet, video image, or other communication device.
Green was booked into Boise County Jail later that evening.
The Boise County Sheriff’s Office stated that the investigation is still ongoing, and that additional charges may be made.
Authorities have not provided more information regarding the claims.
The charge is only an allegation, and Green is deemed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
