Oklahoma City man apprehended in connection with cocaine possession near Holton

Jackson County sheriff’s deputies apprehended an Oklahoma man in connection with drug possession following a traffic stop late Sunday near Holton in Jackson County.

The traffic stop occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday on US-75, just north of 198th Road. The location was approximately three miles south of Holton.

A Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy initiated the traffic stop due to an alleged traffic violation.

During the traffic stop, Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse stated that a probable cause search of the car was undertaken.

Darrian James Taylor, 34, of Oklahoma City, was arrested at the scene and lodged into the Jackson County Jail for cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, tetrahydrocannabinol, and transporting an open container.
