A suspect wanted in a mass shooting in Toledo was apprehended Wednesday in Columbus.

According to NBC4, 20-year-old Ka Nye Taylor was detained at a residence on East Town Street. A second suspect was previously detained.

The Toledo Police Department verified Taylor’s arrest and thanked the United States Marshals Service, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. He is being returned to Toledo to face eleven counts of felonious assault.

Taylor was wanted for the June 6 shooting at a festival that injured 12 people.

The incident began after someone was tackled and assaulted at the festival, prompting one individual to start fire and another to retaliate with more gunfire, Toledo Police Chief Michael Troendle said at a press conference.

Authorities claimed three of the 12 people shot were involved in the altercation, while the others were onlookers. The injured ranged in age from teenagers to a person in their sixties.

Hundreds of people attended the Old West End Festival, an annual two-day festival in Toledo’s historic area that spans several city blocks and includes live music, artisans, and home tours. Toledo is located in northwest Ohio, near the western coast of Lake Erie, approximately 55 miles (90 kilometers) southwest of Detroit.
