A woman apprehended on grand theft auto charges told investigators she towed a vehicle because her dead father instructed her to do so from “the other side,” according to Marion County Sheriff’s deputies.

Latasha Kohler, 43, remained in jail Thursday after being arrested Wednesday.

According to deputies, the victim complained that her vehicle was pulled from her residence without permission.

Kohler told investigators that she had the vehicle towed because her deceased father instructed her to do so.

Kohler is being jailed under a $2,500 bond.
