A Florida woman won $1 million while playing a scratch-off game.

Brenda Larry of Monticello recently won $1 million in the 500X The Cash scratch-off game, according to the Florida Lottery.

The Jefferson County woman elected to receive her prize in a single, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

This lucky Florida winner purchased her winning ticket from Pit Stop, which is situated at 1546 N. Jefferson Street in Monticello.

“You must play to win, and I do not rely on luck. Brenda Larry stated, “I move with purpose and am truly blessed.”

She claimed her winnings at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
