Man and woman discovered shot to death at Maryvale apartment

Officers discovered a man and a woman dead inside an apartment in Maryvale, west Phoenix, on Friday afternoon.

Police were summoned to an apartment at 99th Avenue and Camelback Road shortly before 4 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered the pair had been shot at least once and were not moving.

Both died at the site.

Detectives are coming to the area to investigate what caused the gunfire.

There have been no names released.
