A man has been sentenced for the murder of a woman shot in front of her children in western Arizona.
According to the US Attorney’s Office in Arizona, Andre Anthony Miller, 33, will serve 28 years in prison for second-degree murder and will be on probation for five years after his term.
Miller shot the victim on February 18, 2024, on the Colorado River Indian Tribe Reservation.
Officials identified the woman as a former intimate partner. Both were part of the tribe.
Officials stated the woman suffered quadriplegia and died 11 months later.
The FBI and the Colorado River Indian Tribe Police Department carried out the inquiry.
