Deputies say Zariah Parks, 24, is accused of taking cash and a debit card from an older resident while working at an assisted living facility in Summerfield.
According to investigators, Parks then used the victim’s debit card to make over $6,000 in personal transactions.
Police reported that the purchases included wine, beauty products, food, and other stuff. Investigators also claim that Parks used the victim’s money to pay for lunches with pals.
Parks was arrested on warrants for 69 counts of fraud, larceny, and abuse of the elderly. The sheriff’s office says she’s being held without bond.
