A Dominican national was sentenced to prison for narcotics trafficking.
According to court records, Ramon De Leon, 26, and his brother Alex De Leon were working together to transport fentanyl from Maine to Massachusetts.
Authorities revealed that the two used Facebook to plan narcotics purchases.
According to records, both brothers were stopped by Maine State Police in 2024, and police say they discovered huge amounts of fentanyl when searching the vehicle.
Ramon De Leon will spend four years in prison.
His brother, Alex, has already been sentenced to five years in prison.
The Justice Department also reports that three people have been sentenced in connection with this case.
