A man wanted for months following a deadly stabbing in the south valley has been sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.
Last Monday, a judge sentenced Ethan Robinson to four to ten years in the Nevada Department of Corrections for voluntary manslaughter. The judge also sentenced Robinson to a subsequent two to five years for a deadly weapon enhancement, bringing his total term to six to fifteen years. Robinson received credit for 144 days already served.
Robinson had been wanted by police for many months following the December 21 stabbing of 29-year-old Cameronn Carson Jr. on the 300 block of E. Silverado Ranch Boulevard, just west of Bermuda Road. Carson Jr. died of his injuries.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Fugitive Task Force tracked down Robinson some months later. He was detained and later extradited to Las Vegas.
