A three-year-old child will be reunited with his or her family after being kidnaped by someone who broke into a home in the Van Nuys area, officials said.
The Los Angeles Police Department got a complaint shortly before 8:15 a.m. about a house invasion kidnapping in the 7600 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, near Saticoy Street.
The suspect fled with the youngster, heading westbound on Keswick Street. The child was discovered hours later, and the culprit is already in police custody.
The child’s link with the suspect is unknown.
