Authorities are conducting a death investigation after a body was discovered inside a burning vehicle on Sauvie Island Tuesday afternoon.
Sauvie Island firefighters responded to a car fire on Northwest Lucy Reeder Road and discovered the victim inside, according to a Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.
Sheriff’s deputies have formed a crime scene, and detectives and the county medical examiner are on the scene conducting an investigation.
