Man arrested and accused of stabbing two people outside East Toledo bar

A Toledo man is facing multiple felony counts for reportedly stabbing two individuals outside an East Toledo bar early Saturday morning.

Te-micheal Gardner was detained on Main Street and charged with two counts of felonious assault in relation to the incident.

According to police, crews arrived to the Code Bar on Starr Avenue about 1:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered a victim with multiple stab wounds. Toledo Fire and Rescue crews took the victim to an area hospital.

A second victim was treated in a hospital for a stab wound to the shoulder.

According to investigators, the event began with an altercation inside the institution. Everyone engaged was reportedly ejected from the bar, but the violent brawl continued outside. During the fight, Gardner allegedly used a knife to stab both victims.
