Someone in Massachusetts claimed a $2 million lottery prize on Thursday from a $50 scratch ticket game.
The $2 million reward came from the scratch ticket game “$25,000,000 Mega Money,” which was introduced in May 2025. Each ticket costs $50 to play.
As of August 28, the game still had six $1 million prizes, two $2 million awards, and two $25 million grand prizes to be claimed.
The winning $2 million ticket was sold at a Mobil gas station in Melrose.
In addition, two $100,000 prizes were awarded during the “Mass Cash” drawings at midday and evening. The winning numbers for the midday drawing were 3, 14, 17, 25, and 35, while those for the evening drawing were 1, 3, 13, 22, and 32.
One of the winning tickets was sold at Route 28 Lucky Mart in North Reading, and the other at Russell’s Convenience in Maynard.
Overall, at least 768 prizes were won or claimed throughout Massachusetts on Thursday, with 10 in Springfield, 23 in Worcester, and 30 in Boston.
