A 15-year-old boy was shot while standing outside a restaurant in Chicago’s West Garfield Park neighborhood on Tuesday night, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 11:16 p.m. in the first block of South Pulaski Road.
According to police, the victim was on the sidewalk outside the restaurant when two suspects appeared nearby.
One of the suspects, equipped with a handgun, fired at the victim before fleeing the area, according to police.
The teen was wounded in the leg and sent to Stroger Hospital, where he was classified in good condition.
Area Four detectives are conducting an investigation.
