A Mississippi man faces multiple felony charges following a violent domestic dispute Friday night that left two women injured and placed a 3-month-old infant in danger, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to an active disturbance at a residence on East Sulinda Street at 8:45 p.m. on September 4. Officers arrived to find Ashaud Ceth Lampton, 26, involved in an argument with two ladies, according to Sheriff Travis Patten.
An inquiry indicated that the debate turned into a violent assault in which both women were choked and punched. One victim received a leg laceration, while the other sustained a nasal injury. Investigators discovered that the 3-month-old infant was physically impacted during the struggle and was in immediate danger. Deputies also noticed physical damage inside the house.
Both adult victims declined transportation to the hospital, however emergency workers treated the leg injuries on the site.
