A Miami woman was arrested after reportedly stealing a pair of watches, including a high-end Rolex, from a man she met on Tinder, according to investigators.
Alexia Jocelyn Flores, 24, was arrested Wednesday on a grand theft charge, according to the arrest report.
According to the complaint, on September 20, the victim reported that two watches had been taken from his apartment after inviting Flores, a woman he met on Tinder, to dinner and to his apartment on Brickell Bay Drive.
They drank for several hours before she left his apartment, and he later noticed two missing watches on the nightstand next to his bed, according to the report.
The victim submitted a receipt for one of the watches, a Rolex, which cost $37,000.
Investigators later spoke with Flores, who told them she remembered meeting the man on Tinder and going to dinner to his apartment, but she thought she’d been drugged and couldn’t remember what happened next, according to the report.
She also denied removing the timepieces, according to the investigation.
Flores was put into jail and appeared before a judge on Thursday, who assigned her a public defender and ordered her to stay away from the claimed victim.
During the appearance, a prosecutor requested a bond, citing Flores’ open prostitution case and his arrest in California in July for prostitution.
The judge set her bond at $7,500.
