Rosenberg police are sending a message to others after a driver reportedly crashed into a store overnight in search of a restroom.
Police said the crash happened at Kroger about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.
According to authorities, the driver purposefully accelerated the truck and collided with Kroger, damaging the drugstore entryway.
Officials reported that the driver, a 60-year-old man, expressed his anger over the closed doors, stating that he needed to use the restroom. FOX 26 confirmed that the department arrested the man and charged him with criminal mischief. “We strongly recommend finding a store open for business to conduct your business,” the department stated on social media.
