The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating after a woman was discovered dead in the parking lot of a Kaiser Permanente medical clinic in Baldwin Hills on Friday.
Around 1 p.m., the LAPD received a call regarding a deceased corpse discovered inside a car in front of the Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Medical Offices in the 3700 block of Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
At 3:15 p.m., Sky5 flew above the site and saw a cover placed up over a vehicle stopped in a circle at the facility’s entrance, with the driver’s door open.
The woman is described as being around 65 years old, but no other identifying information was provided.
The circumstances surrounding the discovery of the woman’s body are unclear.
Investigators are on the scene Friday afternoon, determining how the woman died.
