Man discovered shot in the stomach outside of Lucky’s bar

A man was rushed into surgery in critical condition after being shot outside a popular Pittsburgh pub early Saturday morning.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, about 1:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to Penn Avenue for a reported shooting outside the Real Luck Cafe, also known as Lucky’s in the Strip District.

When cops arrived at the site, they discovered that a man had been shot in the abdomen.

The man was subsequently transported to the hospital in severe condition and rushed into surgery.

While examining the scene, the mobile crime team discovered shell casings, which confirmed the incident.

It is thought that a suspect fled the scene on foot, and one witness was transported to police headquarters for interrogation.

The Pittsburgh Police Department’s Violent Crime Division is investigating the shooting. No suspects or motivations had been identified as of Saturday morning.
