3 people injured in drive-by shooting at Far South Side gas station

Three people, including a teen boy, were hospitalized Wednesday morning after a drive-by shooting at a Far South Side gas station.

According to Chicago police, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 11600 block of South Michigan Avenue in West Pullman.

According to police, the victims, a 24-year-old man, an 18-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy, were at a gas station when a black SUV approached and a suspect inside opened fire on them.

Following the incident, the SUV left the site.

Officers stated all three victims had gunshot wounds and were taken to the hospital, where they were listed in fair condition.

Currently, it is unclear what caused the incident, and an investigation is underway.
