MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A night out in the Florida Keys went off the rails early Sunday after a Naples woman allegedly turned a bar‑hopping argument into a full‑scale brawl, ending the evening with a kick to a deputy’s groin.
Monroe County deputies took 45‑year‑old Crystal Annegret Quesenberry into custody on Oct. 11, 2026, after a 2 a.m. disturbance call at a Fox Street residence on Big Pine Key.
Deputies say the drama began about 30 miles away in Key West. Quesenberry’s drinking companions reported that she became increasingly intoxicated and angry at the bars, prompting them to deem the only sensible choice: leave her behind and head home.
That escape plan quickly fell apart.
Quesenberry tracked the group to a Big Pine Key home, where investigators say she slapped three people and threatened to end their lives.
When deputies arrived to intervene, Quesenberry refused to cooperate. She turned combative during detention, landed a direct kick to a deputy’s groin, and spent the ride to jail rattling off death threats against the officers and their families.
Miraculously, no serious injuries were reported. Quesenberry now faces a slew of charges, including battery on law enforcement, resisting arrest with and without violence, assault, battery, and death threats against officers and their families.
