ROSEBURG, Ore. — A Roseburg man already facing child sex abuse charges is now accused in a second case involving a 16-year-old girl.
According to investigators, 42-year-old Gregory Wayne Van Egdom was initially arrested in September on child sex abuse charges.
During the course of that investigation, detectives say they uncovered material dating back to 2020 that allegedly involved a different victim.
As a result, Van Egdom is now facing additional charges, including first-degree sex abuse, encouraging child sex abuse in the third degree, and using a child in the display of sexually explicit conduct.
The investigation remains ongoing.
