Authorities in Dexter arrested three individuals for driving under the influence following a crash early Wednesday morning.

Crash Reported on Barbre Road

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle crash involving a tree on Barbre Road on March 19.

When deputies arrived, they found the vehicle had already been moved back onto the roadway.

Multiple Drivers Found Intoxicated

Investigators determined that 22-year-old Gavin Beiderwell-Goodridge had initially been driving. However, deputies said 22-year-old Emmah Elizabeth Keyser was behind the wheel when the car left the road and struck the tree.

Both were found to be intoxicated and were arrested on DUII (Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants) charges.

Third Driver Also Arrested

While deputies were still on scene, 20-year-old Christian David Ramos arrived in a second vehicle. Authorities said he was also intoxicated and was taken into custody.

Officials noted that all three individuals had been drinking together prior to the crash.

Authorities Issue Warning

The sheriff’s office is reminding the public about the serious dangers of impaired driving and urging people to make responsible choices to prevent accidents and potential fatalities.
