Police in Eugene arrested two massage spa owners last week following an investigation into alleged prostitution-related activities at their business.
According to authorities, Christopher Long, 62, and his wife Fang Zhou, 55, were taken into custody Thursday on charges of promoting prostitution. Both were later released from the Lane County Jail.
The couple operates Awe Spa and Massage, located on West 11th Avenue, which had been under investigation by the Eugene Police Department since last month.
Investigators reported observing several women living and working at the spa, where they allegedly provided illegal sexual services to clients.
Police executed a search warrant at the business on March 19, leading to the arrests.
The case remains under investigation.
