A 38-year-old man has died following a serious crash involving a driver who made an illegal U-turn in Portland, according to local authorities.
Kyle Stahl was riding a scooter when the collision occurred on March 24 along Northeast Sandy Boulevard. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
Victim Succumbs to Injuries
Officials later confirmed that Stahl died from his injuries on March 31, about a week after the crash. He had been operating a white Genuine Scooter Buddy Kick at the time of the incident.

Investigators determined that Stahl was traveling eastbound when a driver made an illegal U-turn directly into his path, causing the collision.
The driver, whose identity has not been released, was cited for multiple violations, including making an illegal U-turn and careless driving resulting in serious injury or death to a vulnerable road user.
