Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing young woman from Forest Grove.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Ryah Naomi Jones was last seen on the morning of Monday, March 30, at around 10:50 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest Verboort Road and Northwest Visitation Road in rural Forest Grove.

She was later spotted around 1 p.m. near the intersection of Northeast Evergreen Road and Northwest Glencoe Road, traveling toward Hillsboro.

The two locations are roughly five miles apart.

Deputies say Jones has a cognitive impairment that makes her appear younger than her age and note that she may not speak with people she does not know.

Jones is described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark jacket and shorts, and carrying a black-and-red Pikachu backpack.

Deputies say Jones is unfamiliar with public transportation and does not have a phone.

Authorities ask anyone who sees her to call non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111. They are also requesting any dashcam footage from the intersection of Northwest Verboort Road and Northwest Visitation Road around 10:50 a.m. on Monday.
