A fatal traffic collision in Portland early Wednesday morning has left one motorcyclist dead, prompting an active investigation by local authorities.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, the crash occurred just before 1 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast Sandy Boulevard and 141st Drive.
Officials say a vehicle collided with a motorcyclist under circumstances that are still being examined.
Victim Succumbs to Injuries After Hospitalization
Emergency responders transported the injured motorcyclist to a nearby hospital following the crash. Despite medical efforts, the victim later died from their injuries.
