Tragic Discovery After Car Plunges Into Lake
Authorities in Clackamas County are investigating a fatal incident after a vehicle was found submerged in a small lake late Saturday night. According to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a car entering the water in the 15000 block of South Kirk Road.
Emergency calls alerted dispatchers around 9 p.m., prompting immediate response from law enforcement.
Driver Found Inside Fully Submerged Vehicle
By the time deputies arrived at the scene, the vehicle had already sunk completely beneath the surface. Rescue divers were deployed and located the driver inside the car.
Officials confirmed that the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. No other occupants were found in the vehicle.
