A drive-by shooting in Vancouver left two people wounded Monday night, including one victim with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Shooting reported at busy intersection
Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. to the intersection of Northeast 18th Street and Andresen Road, a commercial area lined with businesses including a Domino’s Pizza and a nearby gas station.
At the scene, police found a man suffering from minor gunshot injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Second victim arrives at hospital
Roughly 30 minutes later, a second victim—this time with critical injuries—arrived at a nearby hospital. Authorities believe the two shootings are connected.
Investigation underway
The Vancouver Police Department has not released the identities of the victims or any suspect details. Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are actively investigating the incident.
Officials have yet to determine a motive as the case remains ongoing.
