A 35-year-old man was detained Thursday after officers executed a search warrant at a Dayton neighborhood home, seizing drugs, cash, and firearms.

According to the Dayton Police Department, police executed the warrant in the 200 block of South Findlay Street. During the search, police discovered around 65 grams of fentanyl and 31 grams of methamphetamine, as well as $1,000 in cash and two pistols.

Police said that as little as 2 milligrams of fentanyl can be dangerous; therefore, the amount recovered might kill thousands of people.

The culprit was arrested at the scene. Authorities have not disclosed any other information on the individual or the particular charges he may face.

The investigation is underway.
