Update on May 11: A woman is facing charges following a stabbing in Reno.

Officers from the Reno Police Department were dispatched to the Green Head Court area in Reno on Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. for a reported domestic disturbance.

According to police, Ann Gutierrez, 38, stabbed a guy before leaving the apartment after many hours of negotiations.

The man was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Gutierez is now facing charges for battery with a deadly weapon.
