2 officers assaulted during dirt bike arrest in Baltimore

A 33-year-old man was apprehended, and his dirt bike was seized after he assaulted two Baltimore police officers on Saturday, according to authorities.

On May 16, at about 6:40 p.m., officers observed a group of dirt bike riders in the 200 block of Mission Blvd.

Officials said that one of the riders came to a stop on the sidewalk, prompting an officer to take the dirt bike. During this time, the subject assaulted two policemen and attempted to resist arrest.

Additional officers arrived at the site, and the culprit was quickly apprehended. He was taken to Central Booking Intake.
