A Calumet City woman was banned from visiting Orland Square Mall after being arrested for stealing over $1,000 in products from the Macy’s shop, according to police.

Kenisha Plummer, 34, of the 1900 block of Sibley Boulevard in Calumet City, was charged with felony retail theft on April 25 after police reported she took over $1,100 in products from Macy’s.

Plummer, who had previously been barred from entering the mall, gave police a bogus identity when she was originally apprehended, according to authorities.

While in police custody, Plummer requested an ambulance, which sent her to Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital for observation.

She was charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanor criminal trespass, and she was barred from returning to the mall for life, according to authorities.
