A second person has been apprehended in connection with two armed bank robberies in Boston that occurred last month.
Angel Gonzalez, 25, of West Yarmouth, was already in detention for other offenses.
At around 10:11 a.m. on April 28, police responded to a suspected robbery at the Santander Bank on 2189 Washington Street in Roxbury. They stated that the suspects fled the site before they arrived.
Shortly after, at around 11:56 a.m., Boston police responded to 930 American Legion Highway for complaints of an armed robbery at a TD Bank in Roslindale.
According to police, three suspects went to banks, with two of them demanding money at gunpoint. The third remained outside in the vehicle.
According to charging records, Gonzalez displayed a handgun during both robberies and allegedly dragged an employee during the first one in Roxbury.
In early May, Steven Harris, 35, was arrested in Weymouth.
