A 19-year-old man died after being involved in a crash in east Dallas, according to officials.
According to a news statement from the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a collision in the 5500 block of South Buckner Boulevard around 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, May 17.
According to the announcement, investigators discovered that a pickup truck ran a red light at the scene and collided with an SUV. The truck driver died at the scene, according to authorities. The SUV driver was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.
The deceased driver was later identified as David Garcia Mora by the Dallas County Medical Examiner.
