Two men were shot, leaving one of them critically injured, on Chicago’s South Side Friday night.
According to police, the incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. on the 7100 block of South Aberdeen Street in the Englewood area.
Police say two men, ages 23 and 21, were standing outside when they heard bullets and felt pain.
The 23-year-old male was shot numerous times in the torso and sent to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
The 21-year-old man was wounded in the right shoulder and sent to the University of Chicago Hospital in fair condition.
No other information was provided. Area One detectives are investigating.
