An investigation is underway after a man was seriously hurt on the city’s Far North Side on Friday afternoon.
According to authorities, the victim, a 68-year-old man, was found shortly before 2 p.m. on Friday in the 2800 block of West Devon Avenue in West Ridge.
Officers reported discovering the victim outside in the vicinity, where he had sustained blunt force wounds to the body.
The individual was later taken to the hospital and pronounced deceased.
Currently, it is unknown how the victim got his injuries.
Authorities have yet to identify the victim, and an investigation is underway.
