Six people were hospitalized following a four-car crash at a Pacoima intersection Saturday afternoon.
The collision occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. near the 12700 block of Pierce Street and De Foe Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Firefighters initially reported that five patients “required advanced life support treatment and transport,” but later confirmed that six people were injured and transported to nearby hospitals. All victims are expected to survive — three were hospitalized in fair condition and three in good condition.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
Aerial footage from the scene showed a severely damaged white sedan that appeared to have struck two parked cars. A black sedan with moderate damage was also visible nearby.
