An investigation is underway after human skeletal remains were discovered early Friday morning when cops were carrying out a search warrant in Northwest D.C.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), police executed the warrant, which was related to a death investigation, about 7:12 a.m. on June 5 at a location in the 2900 block of Georgia Avenue NW.
Police said they spotted two adult men on the property and arrested them for unauthorized entry.
MPD confirmed that the remains were also located on the spot. The identity of the deceased person has not yet been determined.
The death investigation is still ongoing, and no other facts have been revealed.
