Massachusetts man thinking about his future after trip to convenience store leads to $1M State Lottery win

A trip to the convenience shop for a Massachusetts guy resulted in a large state lottery win on a scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Admilson Da Silva of Quincy has won a $1 million reward in the “$4,000,000 Cash King Doubler” fast ticket game.

He picked the cash option for his reward, receiving a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Da Silva intends to save and invest the winnings.

He bought the winning ticket at Quick Stop Gas & Convenience, 246 East Water St., Rockland. The retailer will receive a $10,000 incentive for selling this ticket.
